Additionally, we enjoyed dinner at the Castle View Restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation in advance. Walking around the castle gardens and grounds after hours was a delightful experience. The location was peaceful and tranquil, and we had access to the castle grounds and gardens after the day-trippers had left. The restaurant at the bed and breakfast served food of excellent quality. Our ground floor room was convenient, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of chocolate toffee and caramels upon arrival. The breakfast both mornings was outstanding, and the staff were very helpful. We also enjoyed visiting the recommended pubs for our evening meals. Being able to wander the castle grounds as guests was a wonderful bonus. it was a great stay.
